Michigan Manufacturing International Names New Global Quality Manager
Manjunath Poojar will oversee quality systems at all MMI locations.
Stevensville, MD, June 14, 2019 – Michigan Manufacturing International (MMI) is pleased to name Manjunath Poojar as Global Quality Manager.
Manjunath has 13 years of experience in quality assurance, including previous work as deputy supplier quality assurance manager at The VW-group and Tyco. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering and is a qualified auditor for IATF 16949, ISO 14001:2004, VDA6.3, and AS9100. He is a lead auditor for TPM standards.
Speaking on his goals for MMI quality systems, Manjunath said, “Leading quality management at MMI is an opportunity for me to use my experience at larger corporations to help fuel growth here. MMI has a robust quality process to deal with the unique challenge of sourcing in multiple countries, but I’m excited to extend and further standardize the process so quality requirements reduce mistakes without delays.”
